ABOUT

The 42 Foundation is dedicated to supporting programs that are designed to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement, and to provide aid and support to members of the broader Huntington Beach community, to support the physical or mental health and wellbeing of the employees of the Huntington Beach Police Officers Association and their families, and to provide aid and support to members of the broader law enforcement community that have suffered a death, serious injury or illness or catastrophic event.

Since 2000, the 42 foundation has made over $1,400,000 in contributions in support of organizations that fulfill our mission statement, serve those who serve others.

  • The Huntington Beach Police Officers’ Association (HBPOA) was established to support the officers, jailers and dispatchers of the HBPD, advocating for their rights, benefits, and working conditions.

The HBPOA represents the interests of sworn and non-sworn personnel and promotes professionalism, while also contributing to the community through charitable initiatives.

  • The 42 Foundation was created as the charitable arm of the HBPOA, focusing on supporting families of fallen officers, providing scholarships, and funding various programs to better the lives of its members and their families. Together, these three entities work to ensure the safety and well-being of both Huntington Beach residents and the dedicated members who serve them.
